Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an IS Technical Specialist to provide technical and consultative support on complex issues and lead code development within the Payments Organization.

The role requires strong Java/API development and deep GCP expertise to support the Enterprise Payments platform, focusing on building cloud-native services, system integration, and production support in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 5+ years of related experience or 4+ years in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end services using Java (Spring Boot), including RESTful APIs design, testing, and performance tuning.
• Demonstrate knowledge of and deliver solutions using GCP and integrations.
• Plan, design, develop, test, and manage deliverables with the manager (estimates, design, development, testing, change controls).
• Own end-to-end delivery for team initiatives with alignment and accountability toward milestones.
• Coordinate with offshore/onsite teams to ensure timely delivery of artifacts while following Huntington guidelines.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DevSecOps tool chains and processes.
• Provide technical assistance in solving hardware or software problems across systems.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and Huntington-specific practices.
• May serve as project leader for specific projects.
