Job summary

Huntington is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst with GCP experience to advance the Enterprise Payments platform. You will implement cloud-native Java backends, REST APIs, and event-driven processing while ensuring production stability and security.

You will collaborate with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and business analysts to deliver scalable, highly available payments solutions following enterprise standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 1+ year of related work.
• Hands-on Java development with Spring Boot in cloud environments.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and API gateways.
• Proficiency in GCP and IaC (Terraform) tooling and workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps practices, and cloud security.
• Ability to work in Agile teams and deliver features independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Java/Spring Boot.
• Design, build, test, and document RESTful APIs for payments ecosystem.
• Implement cloud-native solutions on GCP including serverless/containers.
• Leverage Apigee or GCP API Gateway for APIs and integrations.
• Participate in incidents, change management, and production support.
• Collaborate with offshore/onsite teams and adhere to Huntington standards.
