Job summary

Wellfit is expanding its payments engineering team to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions for patients, providers, employers, and payors. We seek a Senior Software Engineer with strong .NET backend and Azure cloud experience to help build and maintain payments infrastructure and integrate new methods.

You will contribute from design to deployment, focusing on secure coding and compliance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to handle growing transaction volumes and evolving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend .NET development and Azure cloud experience.
• Experience with secure coding and compliance requirements for handling sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services with a focus on .NET and Azure cloud environments
• Expand ACH features for practices and recurring billing
• Enhance card payments with authorization, capture, and settlement
• Support device-based payments (Tap to Pay for iOS)
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and product stakeholders to align solutions with business needs
• Drive secure coding practices and modernize microservices for scalability
