Job summary

Worldpay is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - .NET (Full Stack) to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work across backend and frontend technologies to deliver robust solutions.

The role is hybrid with Denver, CO (2 days) and Cincinnati, OH (3 days). You will lead modernization efforts, including migrating large-scale .NET Framework apps to .NET Core/.NET 8+, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, cloud-ready systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience in enterprise application environments.
• 6+ years of hands-on C# development with deep expertise in .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET Core.
• Proven experience leading application modernization initiatives and large-scale migrations to .NET Core/.NET.
• Strong frontend development using JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS and modern frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework, security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Lead modernization initiatives, including migration of large-scale legacy apps to .NET Core/.NET 8+.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations with internal/external systems.
• Create reusable UI components and shared services to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests; participate in code reviews.
