Job summary

BRAINS WORKGROUP, INC. is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect Developer – Payments for a major bank in New York City. The role combines design, development, and production support for modern web applications and digital platforms serving banking customers.

You will lead frontend and backend work using Angular/React, .NET/Java/Node.js, REST/GraphQL, and cloud services on Azure, focusing on secure, scalable systems and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology experience in Angular and full-stack development in banking/financial services.
• Proven experience architecting mission-critical, high-volume, regulated systems.
• Knowledge of payment rails, ISO 20022, and financial messaging standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade Angular web applications for corporate and institutional banking customers.
• Build responsive, accessible UIs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs and backend services (Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js).
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contribute to microservices architectures.
• Develop compliant banking apps with secure coding practices (SSO, OAuth2, encryption).
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and production releases; mentor teammates.
