Job summary

Allied Global Technology Services is seeking a Senior Payments Engineer to design, build, and maintain a critical payments platform serving real-money transactions at scale. You will focus on the payments lifecycle, gateway integrations, tokenization, settlement, and reconciliation, with significant hands-on engineering.

You will work on PCI DSS v4.0 controls, encryption, secrets management, and secure SDLC, collaborating across teams to ensure security, reliability, and performance in payment

Qualifications

• 4+ years building or operating payment systems handling real money at volume.
• Strong understanding of card payment lifecycle and gateway integrations.
• Hands‑on tokenization, vaulting, recurring payments, and autopay experience.
• Experience with PCI DSS v4.0 and at least one PCI assessment cycle.
• Production experience with MySQL and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a critical payments platform with security and compliance baked in.
• Lead hands‑on engineering efforts, ~75–85% coding work.
• Integrate card gateways/processors and ensure payment correctness and financial data integrity.
• Tackle audit logging, threat modeling, and secure code reviews.
