Justice Federal Credit Union in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Accounting Operations Specialist to oversee wire transfers and maintain strong internal controls. You will coordinate between Accounting Operations, Financial Services, Internal Audit and external partners to support critical financial decisions.

The role manages day-to-day wire transfers, processes monthly ACH functions, balances the Fed GL, and handles LexisNexis and Asset Verification tasks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting operations experience in financial services or treasury preferred.
• Two-year college degree or equivalent certification required; vendor training may substitute.
• Professional certification in Risk Management or Compliance is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform typical office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming and outgoing wire transfers (domestic and international) with approvals and discrepancy resolution.
• Process monthly ACH functions including tax withholding entries, death notifications, reclamation notices, and resolve unauthorized ACH transactions.
• Balance the Federal Reserve General Ledger daily and support daily payment settlement activities.
• Process LexisNexis and Asset Verification items.
