Job summary

GTE Financial is seeking a proactive Payment Operations Specialist in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on daily ACH and payroll deduction file processing per NACHA rules, OFAC policy, and regulations.

The specialist will manage wires, in-clearing checks, and member requests across multiple channels, while maintaining accuracy and timely service. The position supports Community Financial Centers and members via ATM/ITM, Deposit2Go, mail, lockbox, and Cenlar.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Some college coursework is preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Process, send, and approve ACH files within established timeframes.
• Verify and save daily Federal Reserve ACH wire settlements.
• Audit postings to ensure accuracy of accounts and research ACH exceptions.
• Process disputes, adjustments, and other ACH-related items within required timeframes.
• Balance and reconcile daily check-in-clearing file and ensure timely processing of checks.
