Job summary

Chase is seeking a Technical Implementation Analyst II within Merchant Services Client Onboarding and Service to guide merchants through certification testing and enable them to process transactions using our technology. You will work across clients, integrators, and vendors to resolve issues, deliver successful conversions, and bring new offerings to market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of technical experience in credit card payment processing (networking, support, QA, sales engineering, or analysis).
• 4+ years with connectivity technologies (MPLS, VPNs, internet-based connectivity).
• 4+ years with TCP/IP, secure file transfer, HTTPS.
• 4+ years reading/interpreting technical specs for integrations.
• 5+ years diagnosing complex issues across apps, data messages, and network connectivity.
• Experience with certification/testing processes in payments or tech implementations, EMV Card Brand certification using tools like Brand Test Tool or ICC.

Responsibilities

• Consult with merchants to design technical payment integrations aligned to connectivity, protocols, formats, and product functionality.
• Lead clients through certification testing, analyze data, publish results, and coordinate fixes for sign-off.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for Core and Integrator client cases.
• Direct technical conversions from current processing environments to Chase platforms for new/existing clients.
• Facilitate technical conference calls with clients, integrators, resellers, and hardware vendors to resolve issues.
