Job summary

Incedo Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Architect to lead the design of a next-generation cash management and payment hub platform for a Wealth Management client.

The role requires deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and a track record of building scalable, secure payment solutions using PortX or similar middleware. You will drive end-to-end technical design, define architecture standards, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver API-based

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience in software architecture and development, preferably in financial services, banking, or fintech.
• Proven track record of architecting and implementing payment platforms or cash management systems.
• Hands-on experience with middleware/ integration platforms such as PortX or equivalent (Mulesoft, Apigee, WSO2).
• Strong knowledge of payment rails, settlement, reconciliation, and treasury systems.
• Expertise in microservices, API-first design, and cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency in modern backend technologies (.Net/Java/Scala/Spring Boot/Node.js).
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of security, scalability, and resiliency for financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design an enterprise-grade Payment Hub platform supporting complex cash management workflows.
• Leverage PortX, ThoughtMachine and other middleware to enable API-based integrations across financial systems.
• Drive end-to-end technical design including microservices, API architecture, event processing, and cloud deployment patterns.
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers and enforce security and performance benchmarks.
• Stay current with payments, fintech, and wealth management tech to evolve the platform.
