Job summary

Duncan-Parnell, Inc. is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to expertly manage multi-state payroll using Paylocity. You will ensure timely, accurate processing for a multi-location workforce, with close collaboration with HR and Finance.

The role requires strong attention to detail, expertise in wage and hour laws, and the ability to resolve payroll inquiries efficiently. A CPP designation is preferred and a BA/BS in a related field is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience including multi-state processing.
• Experience administering Paylocity or a similar payroll/HRIS platform.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required; CPP preferred.
• Strong knowledge of wage/hour laws and federal/state tax withholding.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, timely multi-state payroll for all employees using Paylocity.
• Review and validate timekeeping data, hires, terminations, and changes prior to payroll runs.
• Reconcile payroll registers and related general ledger postings.
• Serve as primary contact for employee payroll inquiries and issue resolution.
• Maintain HRIS/payroll data integrity and generate reports for leadership.
