Job summary

Duncan-Parnell, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage accurate, timely multi-state payroll using Paylocity for a multi-location workforce.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax rules, validate timekeeping, and handle off-cycle payments and year-end processes. As the Paylocity system administrator, you will maintain payroll data integrity, produce reports, and support HR, Accounting, and management with payroll insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive payroll experience, including multi-state payroll processing.
• Experience administering Paylocity or a comparable payroll/HRIS platform.
• Experience in a multi-entity or multi-location organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state, bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity for all employees.
• Review and validate timekeeping data, hires, terminations, and other inputs prior to payroll runs.
• Calculate and process off-cycle payments, retroactive pay, bonuses, commissions, and final paychecks.
• Reconcile payroll registers and payroll-related accounts.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries.
