Headway in the United States is building a new mental healthcare system accessible to all. The Senior Business Development Associate will own payer relationships, shape deal strategy, and drive negotiated outcomes across the nation, on the front line of reimagining care.

Reporting to managing principals, you will analyze markets, prepare executive briefs, and lead external touchpoints with payers. The role requires 3+ years in consulting or BD, a commercial instinct, and comfort with AI tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in consulting, BD, partnerships, or sales owning external relationships end-to-end.
• Commercial instinct: read rooms, build trust, move conversations to outcomes.
• Fluent with AI tools and able to pressure-test outputs before shipping.

Responsibilities

• Own payer-facing workstreams end-to-end: analyze markets and buyers to shape partner prioritization.
• Drive deal strategy, content, and executive briefs to move negotiations forward.
• Manage recurring external touchpoints with payer counterparts nationwide.
