Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Paving Construction Inspector to oversee urban and rural pavement rehabilitation projects worth $1 to $25 million. This position can be based in Portland, Augusta, or Eliot, ME, or Merrimack, NH.

The successful candidate will manage project inspections, mentor other inspectors, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma, 7 years of experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7 years of applicable experience in paving construction inspection.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and safety compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asphalt shimming, milling, reclaiming, and compacting.
• Mentor and supervise other inspectors.
• Complete daily reports and coordinate material testing.
