Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Paving Construction Inspector to oversee varied urban and rural pavement projects ranging from $1-$25 million. You will interface with contractors, mentor inspectors, and ensure safety and quality control during construction.

With at least 7 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma, you should be skilled in communication and able to interpret design plans. WSP offers comprehensive benefits and a flexible work model.

Qualifications

• 7 years of applicable experience in construction inspection.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.
• Valid driver's license for site travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pavement rehabilitation and preservation projects.
• Complete daily reports and monitor material sampling.
• Mentor or supervise other inspectors on site.

Skills

Verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings

Experience with safety policies
