Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Paving Construction Inspector to oversee urban and rural pavement rehabilitation projects valued up to $25 million. Based in Portland, ME, Augusta, ME, Eliot, ME, or Merrimack, NH, you'll report to the Resident Engineer and may act as their representative with growing experience.

You will interface with contractors, mentor inspectors, complete daily reports, coordinate sampling and testing, monitor traffic, and document progress with daily photos.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 9 years applicable construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and commitment to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Interfacing with contractors and attending meetings.
• Mentoring or supervising other inspectors as needed.
• Complete daily reports and calculate unit price quantities.
• Coordinate material sampling and testing.
• Monitor maintenance of traffic.
• Capture daily progress photographs.
