Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Paving Construction Inspector to oversee urban and rural pavement rehabilitation projects with values $1–$25 million. Assignments span Merrimack, NH and ME locations, with potential bases in Portland, Augusta, Eliot, ME.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; 9 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans and specs.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and ability to comply with policies.

Responsibilities

• Interface with contractors and attend meetings.
• Mentor or supervise other inspectors on behalf of Resident Engineer/PM.
• Complete daily reports and calculate unit quantities.
• Coordinate independent material sampling and testing.
• Monitor maintenance of traffic.
• Take and organize photographs for daily progress tracking.
