Qualifications

• 7 years of applicable experience in paving construction inspection.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to mentor and supervise other inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee asphalt construction projects valued from $1 to $25 million.
• Interface with contractors and attend project meetings.
• Complete daily reports and measure unit price quantities.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, design plans, and specifications

Proven track record of upholding workplace safety

Education

High School Diploma

Associate of Science degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
