Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Lead Patient Transporter at the MUSC-Orangeburg campus. You will support hospital-based patient movement, ensuring safe, timely transport and smooth workflow across departments.

Reporting to the Manager of Imaging Services, you will help manage staffing schedules, maintain the transport tracking board, and assist with operational needs while transporting patients as required to support patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of patient transport experience at MUSC.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the transport staffing schedule.
• Update and maintain the transport tracking board daily.
• Assist the manager with departmental needs.
• Transport patients as required to support patient care and workflow.
