The Lead Patient Transporter at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) supports hospital-based patient movement on the MUSC-Orangeburg campus, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transport and coordinating daily operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining staffing schedules, updating the transport tracking board, and assisting the manager with departmental needs while transporting patients as needed to support care and workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year patient transport experience at MUSC.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA or ARC CPR/AED required and maintained.

Responsabilités

• Support hospital-based patient transportation on the MUSC-Orangeburg campus.
• Maintain transport staffing schedule and update the transport tracking board daily.
• Assist the manager with departmental needs and coordinate transport operations.
• Transport patients as required to support patient care and operational workflow.
