Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: One year of clerical experience in medical office setting, required.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating patient information, posting charges, copays and scheduling appointments.
• Requires excellent verbal communication, ability to handle changing priorities, strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must interact professionally with diverse groups and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient scheduling, registration and check-in activities.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Process copays, charges and payment transactions accurately.
• Resolve patient inquiries and support care coordination efforts.
• Maintain accurate records using EPIC and other practice systems.
