Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. (minimum)
• Five years of healthcare or food service experience with two years supervisory experience.
• Education may substitute for up to two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Patient Food Service staff and manage daily assignments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and policy adherence.
• Review staffing needs for upcoming shifts and arrange replacements as needed.
• Oversee tray-line operations and act as a tray-line checker when required.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, HACCP, infection control, and food-handling procedures.
• Ensure staff have necessary supplies and equipment to perform responsibilities.
• Conduct monthly safety and sanitation inspections and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Ensure standardized recipes and procedures are followed.
• Handle perishable foods with FIFO and monitor portion sizes and waste.
