Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics in El Paso, TX is seeking a Senior Patient Navigator (Float) to lead our Patient Navigator team across four El Paso locations. You will train staff, approve timecards, support new site launches, and ensure consistent workflows while floating to cover sick time and PTO.

You will educate patients undergoing hereditary cancer genetic testing, guide next steps, coordinate appointments, and perform phlebotomy as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Medical Assistant in a clinical team
• Lead role experience including training or guiding teammates
• Phlebotomy skills with credential (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification and valid drivers license

Responsibilities

• Lead Patient Navigator team across four El Paso locations and approve timecards
• Train new staff and shadow at sites; ensure consistent workflows
• Support new site launches and float coverage for sick time/PTO
• Educate patients undergoing hereditary cancer genetic testing and coordinate care
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed; maintain safety
• Collaborate with clinicians and site leadership to maintain efficient operations
