Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Health Care Program Manager to assist with patient experience programs, provide project management support, and facilitate small-scale improvement projects. The role involves data analysis, reporting, and collaboration with the Advanced Analytics and Clinical teams.

Responsibilities include planning education for physicians and staff, coordinating lean initiatives, and supporting both internal and external review programs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of health care experience, preferably related to programs managed (i.e., patient experience or quality).
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience with process improvements.

Responsibilities

• 50% Program and Project Management Support and Small-Scale Improvement Project Facilitation: acts as subject matter expert for patient experience program and lean improvement; develops work plans, timelines, and documentation; identifies opportunities to improve workflow and clinical outcomes.
• 25% Data Analysis, Synthesis, Reporting and Evaluation: supports teams to identify metrics and uses data to drive experience and process improvements.
• 15% Education or Training coordination: plans and organizes education for physicians and clinical staff; may provide training on program content.
• 10% Coordinate 1st/3rd party review programs: works with clinicians and leaders on reputation management elements.
• Promotes positive work environment and adheres to HIPAA/compliance requirements.
• Integrates lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
