UnitedHealth Group in Las Vegas seeks a Senior Referral Navigator to join the Provider Management team. You will handle patient questions, schedule appointments, process referrals, obtain prior authorizations, and coordinate care across clinics while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

You bring a high school diploma and several years of medical customer service experience, plus proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 5+ years of medical customer service experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a medical setting.
• Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient questions in person or over the phone.
• Schedule patient office/infusion appointments.
• Process all outbound referral orders.
• Obtain prior authorization for all outbound referrals.
• Reschedule patient appointments due to cancellation.
• Back up call center for inbound phone calls.
• Assist patients with completing required paperwork.
• Coordinate services/case management for non-episodic cases.
• Document patient interactions in appropriate systems/logs.
