Universal Health Services is seeking a Sr. Admissions Representative/Registrar to join Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Florida. This full‑time, third‑shift role focuses on welcoming patients, coordinating admissions, and handling registrations and payments accurately.

The ideal candidate has prior registration experience and strong knowledge of insurance requirements. You will work with hospital systems to verify coverage, collect payments, and ensure proper documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of registration experience preferred.
• Typing speed around 40 WPM with accuracy.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements and/or third‑party reimbursement.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients cordially and coordinate patient flow.
• Register patients accurately and collect out-of-pocket payments.
• Obtain signatures and inform patients of admission and financial responsibilities.
• Verify insurance coverage and determine patient deductibles and co-insurance.
• Use hospital systems to scan documents and verify eligibility.
• Balance cash and reconcile at end of shift.
• Assist with training new staff and maintain a positive work environment.
