Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida is seeking a part-time Sr. Admissions Registrar for outpatient services, Monday through Friday from 8am to 12pm. You will greet patients, register them accurately and perform initial financial screening.

This role requires at least 1 year of registration experience, strong data entry and medical terminology knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while explaining hospital financial responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• EMR knowledge and medical coding experience.
• Prior registration experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients cordially and register them accurately.
• Perform initial financial screening and counseling.
• Obtain signatures and inform patients of admission and financial responsibilities.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.
