Job summary

AbsoluteCare is seeking a Patient Account Manager to oversee billing and receivables, ensuring timely processing and accurate payer data. The role coordinates revenue cycle activities across the organization, including front desk and billing operations, to minimize bad debt and improve cash flow.

Remote position based in the United States. You will train and lead Billing staff, monitor performance, and communicate findings to the Director, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Five years' FQHC Billing experience required.
• Three years' management experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with Excel and healthcare billing systems.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure payer information accuracy in the patient billing system.
• Guide billers on handling claims and denials.
• Monitor staff productivity and provide feedback.
• Document deficiencies to identify training opportunities.
• Report system errors to the Director and resolve billing issues.
