Job summary

Americare Inc. is seeking a Senior Patient Accounts Coordinator to lead the patient accounts team, ensuring timely submission of claims and ensuring accuracy in billing processes.

The role requires handling billing in systems like QCARE, OMNIPRO or FSS, submitting Medicaid/Medicare claims, addressing denials, and preparing AR reports. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; Associate degree a plus.
• Must have 3 - 4 years of recent work experience.
• Highly organized and able to track workflows through AR reports and worklists.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle high volumes, balance priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Printing of claims.
• Input information in billing systems (QCARE, OMNIPRO or FSS).
• Submitting billing to Medicaid.
• Billing adjustments as needed.
• Printing and verifying claims against authorizations.
• Mailing claims in a timely fashion.
• Follow up on denials and escalate or pass to Collections as needed.
• Ensure all late charges are processed.
• Submit Medicare claims with daily/weekly memo.
• Prepare billing folders and analytical reports.
