Stoughton Health seeks a Senior Patient Access Representative for a full‑time in‑person role at Stoughton Hospital. The position focuses on staff scheduling, onboarding, and providing operational support to the Financial Clearance Manager, ensuring accurate registrations, verification, and patient services.

Responsibilities include training, workflow improvement, and quality monitoring while maintaining a courteous, patient‑centered access experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting performing or supporting scheduling, registration, insurance verification, referral management, prior authorizations, coding, estimates, claims, billing or customer service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to format documents, create reports and charts.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and guidance to the Financial Clearance Manager.
• Train and onboard new team members and support complex registrations and workflows.
• Manage staff scheduling, workflow improvements, and quality monitoring.
• Serve as liaison among patients, providers, departments, interpreter services, and insurance agencies.
• Ensure professional, compassionate interactions with patients and maintain first‑line patient access experience.
