• Two years of clerical experience with a high school diploma or GED in similar environments.
• Certification options (Medical Assistant/Medical Administrative Assistant) may satisfy part of the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor workflow and adjust assignments for equitable distribution based on volume and complexity.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level staff and provide technical guidance.
• Audit and ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy standards, and department policies.
• Coordinate with departments for preauthorization and eligibility verification.
• Operate bed board and assign beds according to cohort specifications.
