Qualifications

• Pre-registers/registers patients for various locations using computer information systems.
• Schedules patient appointments, gathers demographic and payer information.
• Obtains and verifies insurance information for hospital billing and eligibility.
• Collects co-payments at time of pre-registration/registration.
• Identifies patients for government programs or charity care per policy.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers/registers patients across ECMCC locations using hospital information systems.
• Schedules appointments and collects payer information for input.
• Verifies third party payers and insurance eligibility as part of billing workflow.
• Collects co-payments and issues receipts.
• Provides information and answers inquiries about scheduling, registration, payments.
