Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative at the Lansdale Campus to provide day-to-day support, act as a subject matter expert, and ensure a high-quality patient experience. The role requires coordinating registrations, demographic and insurance data entry, and assisting with authorizations and referrals.

Education required is a high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of patient registration experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of patient registration experience.
• Ability to train staff and ensure accurate data entry in orders, demographics and insurances.

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day support to Patient Access Representatives.
• Acts as a subject matter and technical expert in the department.
• Ensures staff deliver a positive patient experience to patients and families.
• Trains and educates staff to enter complete and accurate orders, demographics and insurance information including authorizations, referrals, medical necessity.
• Ensures staff's compliance with departmental and institutional protocols including communicating and collecting out of pocket liability from patients.
