Job summary

Jefferson Health Plans is seeking a Lead Patient Access Representative for the Lansdale Campus. This senior role oversees patient registration activities on the evening shift, ensuring accurate data entry and a positive patient experience for patients and families.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 years of patient registration experience. Hours are 5p-1:30a, with every other weekend and three holidays per year.

• Experience: 3 years of patient registration experience

Responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day support to Patient Access Representatives. Acts as a subject matter and technical expert.
• Ensures that staff offer a positive patient experience to patients and families.
• Trains and educates staff to enter complete and accurate orders, demographic and insurance information including authorizations, referrals, medical necessity.
• Ensures staff’s compliance with departmental and institutional protocols including communicating and collecting out of pocket liability from patients.
