Job summary

Paycom seeks a Pathology Supervisor to oversee specimen handling, slide preparation, and QA in a professional lab environment in Connecticut. You will ensure accurate processing, regulatory compliance, and effective teamwork.

You will coordinate scheduling and payroll activities, support staff relations, and contribute to policy development and safety improvements while collaborating with physicians and vendors to uphold high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• AA in Science or HT/HTL ASCP required.
• Five years of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of CLIA 88 testing personnel criteria.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily laboratory operations and back up for lab duties.
• Aid in scheduling, recruitment and payroll processes.
• Support staff relations including performance management and conflict resolution.
• Help develop and implement policies, procedures and safety programs.
• Maintain strong relationships with physicians, colleagues and vendors to ensure quality and timely service.
