Job summary

ConnectedHealth is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead daily clinical laboratory operations, ensuring compliance, quality, and team performance in a permanent role. You will oversee staffing, workflow, and regulatory adherence while driving patient safety and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a qualifying science, PA supervisor education/experience, and strong knowledge of quality control and regulatory standards. Supervision and leadership skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Biology, Chemistry, or another qualifying biological, physical, or chemical science.
• Must meet PA clinical laboratory supervisor education and experience requirements.
• Previous clinical laboratory experience required.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory quality control, compliance, testing procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical laboratory operations and support a team of professionals.
• Oversee workflow, staffing, scheduling, and department productivity.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of laboratory testing.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, Pennsylvania Department of Health, OSHA, and applicable standards.
• Monitor quality control, quality assurance, proficiency testing, and lab performance.
• Assist with inspections, audits, documentation, and corrective action plans.
• Develop, review, and maintain laboratory policies and procedures.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff.
• Monitor staff competency and ensure required training is completed.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment, testing processes, and operational issues.
• Manage inventory and ensure appropriate levels of supplies and reagents.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership, physicians, nursing teams, and other departments
