The position requires a Pathologist's Assistant Certificate and substantial leadership experience in a healthcare laboratory setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience in a healthcare related field.
• Bachelor's degree in medical lab science or health care related field AND minimum six (6) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field OR minimum nine (9) years of experience in medical technology, clinical laboratory sciences, or health care related field.
• Pathologist's Assistant Certificate required at hire

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to a high-complexity laboratory testing team, ensuring accuracy and timely results.
• Coach team members in specimen handling, test analyses, and interpretation of lab findings within clinical context.
• Oversee policy and procedure development, quality audits, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Allocate resources, manage projects, and coordinate training and competency assessments across Anatomic Pathology.
• Resolve complex testing issues, guide equipment troubleshooting, and communicate findings to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align lab operations with safety and quality standards.
