Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Correctly verifies specimens and tests.
• Analyzes clinical laboratory specimens and performs quality control to ensure data accuracy.
• Uses reference ranges to determine test result reasonableness and validates results before reporting.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on instruments and documents maintenance.
• Releases or reports results per SOPs and trains assistants on proper techniques.
• Provides supervision of Lab Assistants and clerical personnel as required.
