MacroGenics, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Scientist I/II in Pathology Assay Development to lead tissue-based biomarker assay development supporting ADC and immunotherapy programs from discovery through early clinical development.
Focus areas include single-plex and multiplex IHC/IF, ISH, digital pathology and tissue workflows. You will work with cross-functional teams to generate robust biomarker data, troubleshoot assays, coordinate external CROs, and contribute to publications and regulatory
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience developing tissue-based biomarker assays (IHC, multiplex IF) in biotech, pharma, or CRO settings.
- Experience with FFPE and frozen tissue handling and assay controls; artifact awareness.
- Experience designing qualification/validation studies and setting objective criteria.
Responsabilités
- Independently develop, optimize, qualify, validate, and troubleshoot single-plex IHC, multiplex IHC/IF, and ISH assays.
- Coordinate assay development plans including antibody selection, titration, and controls.
- Perform digital pathology review and quantitative analysis to generate robust biomarker data.
- Collaborate with external CROs/central labs for assay transfer and concordance activities.
