Job summary

Advanced Group is seeking an experienced Pathobiology Scientist to support research and drug development. The role centers on tissue-based assays, histology, and immunohistochemistry (IHC) to aid target identification and therapeutic development across diverse disease areas.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on IHC method development, tissue processing, biomarker analysis, and assay optimization, working with cross-functional teams to generate high-quality data advancing research programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years or Master's with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Strong hands-on experience with immunohistochemistry (IHC) including assay development and optimization.
Experience with tissue handling, processing, staining, and digital image acquisition.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, validate, and troubleshoot IHC assays.
Support tissue-based studies through preparation, staining, imaging, and analysis.
Validate antibody reagents and improve laboratory workflows and histological techniques.
Design and execute experiments independently with accurate documentation.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to support target identification and validation.
Present findings and recommendations to project teams and leadership.
Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve data quality and efficiency.
Manage multiple projects and meet timelines.
