Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Orlando seeks an experienced Pathologist to lead pathology and laboratory services within the VA healthcare system.

Candidates must hold AP/CP board certification and be eligible for licensure in the U.S. A fellowship in Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, or Molecular Pathology is required or strongly preferred, with ultrasound-guided FNA experience highly desirable.

Qualifications

• AP/CP board certification with US licensure
• Fellowship in Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, or Molecular Pathology
• Ultrasound-guided FNA experience required
• Head & Neck Pathology and/or Pulmonary Pathology preferred
• Molecular pathology interpretation fellowship/training required/experienced

Responsibilities

• Provide expert pathology services within the Pathology & Laboratory Service
• Contribute to quality care standards and the growth of VA academic programs
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with clinical teams
• May assist in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Services as needed
• Engage in continuing education and CME as applicable
