Job summary

A governmental healthcare provider is seeking a qualified Pathologist for the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The candidate must be Board Certified in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology and hold an active medical license. Duties include participating in Surgical Pathology and Clinical Pathology, conducting assessments, and supporting pathology staff. Qualifications

• United States Citizenship required.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery.
• Completed residency training in an accredited core specialty program.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology, and Autopsy services.
• On-call 24/7 as required.
• Provide support to pathology staff.
• Participate in quality assurance processes.

Skills

Board Certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology

Proficiency in spoken and written English

Experience in gastrointestinal pathology

Experience in genitourinary pathology

Experience in skin pathology

Education

Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree
