Job summary

SystImmune, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate II or Senior Research Associate to support development, optimization, and validation of IHC assays for early-stage biomarker programs.

The role requires 2–3 years of hands-on histology/IHC experience in a regulated lab and offers on-site work in Bothell, WA. The candidate will work closely with scientists, pathologists, and cross-functional teams to drive assay transfer, optimization, and validation, within GLP/CLIA/CAP contexts.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Pathology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in histology and/or IHC within a regulated lab environment.
• Experience handling FFPE tissues and operating automated IHC platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue sectioning of FFPE blocks and support H&E staining workflows.
• Perform routine IHC staining on FFPE tissue specimens using automated platforms (Ventana, Leica).
• Assist in generating feasibility, optimization, and analytical validation data for CDx assays.
