Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Senior IP Patent Paralegal to oversee case management and docketing, interfacing with business stakeholders and outside counsel. You will coordinate deadlines, lead docket meetings, and manage filings for US, PCT, and foreign patent applications.

Ideal candidates have patent-prosecution experience in a law firm and in-house settings, with familiarity in docketing tools like Anaqua, and a demonstrated ability to multitask under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of related experience.
• At least three years minimum law firm experience.
• Experience in patent prosecution, US/foreign filing, IP docketing, and filing patent documents.
• Anaqua experience is a plus.
• Strong multitasking and deadline management in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage case records and docket for 4 practitioners.
• Track deadlines, lead weekly docket meetings, and update status commentary.
• Lead docket calls during onboarding with training and coaching support.
• Review IP docket entries with USPTO, WIPO, RO/US, and foreign associates.
