Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead defined partnerships and navigate complex relationships with alliance firms. You will drive governance, collaborate with BD leadership, and create impactful materials to scale offerings.

The role emphasizes relationship management, sales-oriented thinking, and leadership across a hybrid model with occasional travel. A minimum of seven years’ experience and an MBA or equivalent degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum of 7 years' work experience.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, communication, influence and negotiation skills.
• Strong strategic and analytical toolkit.
• Ability to operate in ambiguous situations and ramp up quickly.
• Flexibility to handle varying and complex demands.
• Excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead defined partnerships and manage day-to-day relationships with Bain and alliance partners.
• Drive governance, account planning, and joint marketing with stakeholders.
• Develop case studies and materials for teams to scale offerings.
• Collaborate across BD leadership, marketing, and practice teams to align priorities.
• Identify pipeline opportunities and support pilots to deploy partnerships.
• Provide leadership and coaching to grow the BD team and maintain a positive environment.
