Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Associate to join the Business Development team. You will autonomously own a portfolio of high-impact partner relationships, lead complex deal execution from first conversation through launch, and work directly with product and business leaders to bring new partnerships to life as company priorities and market opportunities evolve.

The role requires 5+ years in strategic, deal-oriented roles and the ability to coordinate with legal, product, and finance.

Qualifications

5+ years in strategic, deal-oriented roles (BD, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or strategy).
Proven track record closing complex commercial agreements.
Data-driven with ability to model economics and influence decisions.
Experience coordinating across legal, product, and finance.
Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

Own a portfolio of partnerships end-to-end, driving milestones and KPIs.
Shape partnership strategy by identifying growth opportunities with Product, Engineering and Business leaders.
Source, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements through close.
Track performance, flag risks, and coordinate across legal, compliance, product, marketing, and finance.
Lead partnership launches from contract signing through go-live.
