Job summary

Coinbase is hiring a Senior Associate to join the Business Development team, owning a portfolio of partnerships end-to-end and leading deal execution from first conversation through launch.

You will work with product, engineering, and business leaders to unlock growth, shape commercial frameworks, and track performance against KPIs.

This remote-first, hybrid role includes quarterly in-person surges and opportunities to influence strategic collaborations across the Coinbase ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic, deal-oriented roles such as business development, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or strategy.
• Proven track record of closing complex commercial agreements and identifying partnership opportunities.
• Ability to use data to assess performance, model economics and influence senior decisions.
• Experience coordinating across legal, product, finance to drive execution in fast-moving environments with limited precedent.
• Uses generative AI responsibly, with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage partnerships end-to-end, driving execution against commitments, resolving blockers, and ensuring milestones and KPIs are met.
• Shape partnership strategy by identifying growth opportunities and co-creating commercial frameworks with Product, Engineering, and Business leaders.
• Source, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements from outreach through close.
• Track partnership performance metrics, flag risks to senior stakeholders, and drive cross-functional resolution across legal, compliance, product, marketing, and finance.
• Lead partnership launches by coordinating cross-functional workflows and ensuring readiness from signing through go-live.
