Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in San Mateo, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Partnerships Brand Manager to drive strategic collaborations for PlayStation's first‑party titles and broader brand presence.

You will lead partnership strategy, negotiate with brands and agencies, and coordinate across studios, marketing, legal, and regional teams to deliver high‑impact programs that resonate with players and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in brand partnerships, business development, integrated marketing, licensing or a related discipline.
• Gaming industry experience and a genuine passion for games strongly preferred, with the fluency to collaborate credibly with studios and brand partners and connect the right partnership idea to the right game, audience, and business objective.
• Proven experience developing and delivering partnership programs from opportunity identification and negotiation through activation and measurement.
• Strong relationship-management, collaboration and influencing skills across senior stakeholders, agencies and external partners.
• Commercial acumen, including experience with budgets, contracts, partner valuation, KPIs and return on investment.
• Clear, persuasive communicator and storyteller with strong presentation skills and the ability to turn complex ideas into actionable recommendations.
• Highly organized, proactive and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Cultural curiosity and a genuine interest in gaming, entertainment, creators, sports, fashion, brands and emerging trends.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools for research, ideation, planning and reporting, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally and collaborate across global time zones as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop brand partnership opportunities across consumer goods, fashion, lifestyle, and related categories that support PlayStation brand and first‑party title priorities; build and maintain a proactive pipeline of prospective brand partners and agency relationships.
• Develop strategic recommendations, business cases and pitches that connect audience, cultural, brand and commercial objectives.
• Lead assigned partnerships from concept and partner outreach through negotiation, contracting, creative development, launch and post‑program evaluation.
• Manage partner and agency relationships, budgets, timelines, approvals, deliverables and contractual commitments to support high‑quality execution.
• Collaborate across Studios, Games Marketing, Legal, Finance, Procurement, PR, Social, Influencer, Events, Creative, Media and local markets to integrate programs into broader plans and protect PlayStation brands and IP.
• Define success measures, track partner commitments and program value, and translate results into clear recaps and recommendations that inform future partnership strategy.
