Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Partnership Management to lead the development, growth, and administration of large-scale assessment programs for clients. This hybrid remote/office role reports to a Lead, Partnership Management and collaborates across internal teams and with state education agencies to meet program needs.

The role emphasizes performance management, quality control, and proactive client engagement to align with Pearson contracts and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Advanced graduate degree in policy/assessment/measurement (education or related field).
• Experience in management in large-scale testing, preferably certification/licensing.
• Professional experience managing and supporting project & contract work.
• 3 years in educational testing and assessment industry preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, analytical and facilitation skills.
• Experience directing activities of staff in planning, organizing, scheduling, monitoring and evaluating work.
• Experience in client relationship management and project management; ability to handle complex situations independently.
• Demonstrated analytic capability and knowledge of education policies, issues, and programs.
• Travel as needed up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Brings knowledge of large-scale assessment to design and implement tests and program activities meeting professional standards and client needs.
• Manages components of large-scale assessment activities including development, administration, and scoring.
• Oversees development of processes, procedures, and schedules to meet project deliverables.
• Provides quality control for products, processes, and project activities.
• Oversees work plans and ensures alignment with Pearson’s goals, contracts, schedules, and budgets.
• Advises clients and stakeholders to bring existing and new products to market.
