Greene County Park District, Recreation and Park division seeks a supervisory ranger to oversee staff and patrol county park properties. Responsibilities include enforcing state wildlife rules, park regulations, issuing warnings and citations, and coordinating with other agencies.

The role also involves incident reporting, training staff, and supporting community education programs. The successful candidate will have an associate degree in criminal justice or related field, law enforcement

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or related field and 36 months law enforcement experience.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• Peace Officer Certification and firearms certification required.
• CPR, First Aid, and Field Training Officer certifications required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise park rangers and patrol Greene County areas by vehicle, on foot, and by bike.
• Enforce park rules and Ohio laws, issue warnings and citations.
• Investigate accidents and criminal violations; serve warrants.
• Coordinate liaison with other agencies and staff training.
• Maintain daily logs, reports, and police records; manage equipment purchases.
• Participate in educational programs and volunteer supervision.
